Chemical Manufacturing Specialist - Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) Machine Operator opening in Circle Pines, MN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a chemical manufacturing or mechanical background who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to join a growing team.
Pay & Schedule - Hourly Pay: $24-$25
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities - Maintain and run Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine (VFFS) 50% of time
- Operate automatic and manual manufacturing and dry chemical process equipment
- Perform inline and finished goods quality control checks
- Print and apply lot control manufacturing labels to liquid products
- Handle raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate documentation of lot numbers and quantities
- Mix compound ingredients for powder products
- Perform general maintenance on equipment such as filter presses and tablet compression machines
- Follow ISO guidelines and maintain detailed production records
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in all production areas
Qualifications - 2-5 years of experience operating VFFS machines or similar equipment (CNC, etc.)
- Chemical manufacturing or mechanical background preferred
- Experience with OSHA compliance and ISO standards
- Ability to perform line change-overs accurately and timely
- Forklift experience
- Must be a self-starter with strong communication skills and ability to multitask
- Must pass drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements - Must be able to wear a respirator (FIT test required)
- Ability to climb ladders and lift at least 50 lbs
