Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Granite Fabricator in McDonough, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for precise fabrication and finishing of solid surface countertops including granite, marble and Corian. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a Granite Fabricator job, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Measuring, cutting, shaping and polishing stone materials, including Corian to meet project specifications.
2. Interpreting drawings, blueprints and design specifications accurately.
3. Operating specialized machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently, such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers, to fabricate countertops and related products.
4. Inspecting finished products for quality assurance, ensuring that all pieces meet desired standards and making necessary adjustments as needed.
5. Maintaining a clean, organized and safe workplace at all times, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

What you’ll need:

1. MUST have proven experience in fabricating countertops using granite, marble, quartz and Corian.
2. Proficiency in operating stone fabrication machinery and hand tools.
3. Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints,
4. Ability to lift heavy countertop pieces and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
5. Must have steel toe boots.
