The Atlantic Group has partnered with a large non-profit organization in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for an HR Manager to join their team.
Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Work Schedule: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home. 9-5pm. 35 hours a week.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this role, you will handle a broad range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, training, benefits administration, and HR operations. You’ll also contribute to strategic initiatives such as employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and process improvement to drive a positive and productive workplace culture.
Accountabilities:
• Execute annual HR calendar and objectives, meeting or exceeding financial goals
• Assess staffing needs and implement top-tier recruiting strategies
• Resolve complex benefits issues and support benefits administration and communication
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and escalate as needed
• Plan, develop, and facilitate training sessions aligned with business needs
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
• Analyze biannual engagement surveys and recommend improvement initiatives
•Lead and enhance employee recognition and rewards program
• Identify and implement HR process improvements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Hands-on experience leading HR projects from beginning to end
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Solid understanding of core HR functions including benefits, recruiting strategy, employee relations, training, and compliance
• Experience facilitating employee training or development sessions is a plus
