Position Description: **Leasing Agent (Floating) - San Antonio Area**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated **Floating Leasing Agent** to join our team in the San Antonio area. This role will involve working at various properties across the surrounding region, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting leasing operations on a flexible, as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly to new environments, engage potential residents, and contribute to the success of multiple properties.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Leasing and Resident Relations:** Assist with leasing apartments, conducting tours, answering inquiries, and processing applications for prospective residents.
- **Property Coverage:** Provide leasing support at various properties within the San Antonio area, depending on staffing needs.
- **Customer Service:** Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for prospective and current residents by answering their questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
- **Marketing and Advertising:** Help maintain property marketing materials, update listings, and assist with outreach to attract new residents.
- **Documentation and Administration:** Ensure all paperwork, including lease agreements and resident files, are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- **Move-ins/Move-outs:** Assist with the move-in process, including inspection reports, unit preparation, and ensuring residents have everything they need for a smooth transition.
- **Collaborate with Management:** Work closely with property managers and other team members to support daily operations and contribute to achieving leasing goals.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Previous leasing, customer service, or real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
- **Flexibility:** Ability to work at various properties in the surrounding San Antonio area, often on short notice.
- **Excellent Communication Skills:** Ability to engage effectively with a diverse group of people, both in person and over the phone.
- **Self-Starter:** Must be highly organized and able to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- **Problem Solving:** Ability to think quickly and handle challenges with professionalism and grace.
- **Valid Drivers License:** Must have reliable transportation to travel between properties.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
**Compensation:**
- Competitive hourly rate, plus commissions based on leasing performance.
