Podiatrist (1099 Independent Contractor) - Western Maine (New Graduates can also apply)
Job Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor (1099)
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams to diagnose and treat various conditions.
· Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes.
· Educate patients on preventive foot care, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
· Travel to local nursing homes to provide podiatric care.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams (e.g., ER, internal medicine, hospice, pain management, immunology, pediatrics).
· Maintain detailed, compliant, and accurate medical records.
Requirements:
· Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program.
· Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency.
· New Graduates can also apply for this position
· Valid license to practice podiatry in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain).
· Willingness to travel to local facilities (e.g., nursing homes).
· Passionate about improving patient outcomes and delivering personalized care.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Board Certified (preferred, not required).
· Background or knowledge in internal medicine or hospice/palliative care is a plus.
