Requirements: Candidates must maintain the following certifications throughout employment: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (required) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association (required) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Heart Association (required within 1 year of hire) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – required within 1 year of hire Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 1 year of hire National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – required within 6 months of hire Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Level 5 – required within 3 months of hire Patient Sitter Competency Training – required upon hire
